Shawn Mendes: Will He Record A Song With Taylor Swift?
Okay, how cool would it be for up-and-comer Shawn to get into the recording studio with Taylor?
The two musicians are set to hit the road on Taylor’s upcoming 1989 World Tour, and there’s only one thing Shawn wants to do: write songs with her!
“I would love to collaborate with Taylor Swift,” Shawn told EXCLUSIVELY at MTV’s Artist to Watch concert.
“If there’s time on the tour I would love to sit down and write something with her,” he went on. “I mean, if she would ever just write a song outside of our buses, I’m so down.”
Well Shawn, we are totally into that idea — so hopefully Taylor is, too!
Shawn Reveals The Advice Ed Sheeran Gave Him
Touring with Taylor isn’t the only connection he has to the superstar. During ‘s EXCLUSIVE interview, Shawn shared the awesome advice the Grammy nominee recently gave him.
“He told me to separate my work life from my play life because if I have the two combined then it’s going to be very overwhelming and he’s very right,” Shawn shared. “I look up to Ed a lot.”
Ed is one of the coolest and most down-to-earth artists out there, so he is definitely the best guy to be handing out advice to newcomer Shawn.
