Taylor Swift Performing At Grammys?: See Her Tumblr Announcement
In a blog post on her Tumblr titled “Grammy Talk,” Taylor addressed the rumors of her alleged Grammy performance.
Hey guys!
A lot of you have been asking about the Grammys this week and I just wanted to give you an update. I’m really excited to be nominated for 3 Grammys this year and even more excited that I’ll be there having a dance party/rage fest in the audience. I will also be presenting the award for Best New Artist. Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of The 1989 World Tour right now, I’m not going to be performing on the Grammys this year. I need this time to focus only on the tour.
I hope I’ll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!
Love you.
Taylor
As much as we would LOVE to see a Taylor takeover on stage, we totally understand that the “Blank Space” beauty wants to focus on making her 1989 tour the most epic it can be!
Plus, it’s always so fun to watch Taylor rage in the audience. Seriously, how does she come up with some of those dance moves? Tay is never one to hold back when she’s feeling the music, and that’s why we love her!
Taylor Swift’s Plan To Get Back At Katy Perry
Taylor also needs some planning time to get back at her nemesis , 30, who took some subtle digs at Tay while performing during the 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show. The Katy/Taylor war seems to be more heated than ever, but Taylor plans to “take the high road,” learned EXCLUSIVELY. At least on some stuff.
“Taylor is going to take the high road when it comes to Facebook, Twitter, or other social media. [Taylor] will get Katy back, but she will do it via music video or other high profile situation,” an insider told us. “Taylor wants the last laugh.”
, tell us — are you bummed Taylor won’t be performing at the Grammys? Let us know!
